The destruction of Daventry and its beautiful
countryside
These developments will result in serious damage to a
nature reserve, the destruction of the best views in
Northamptonshire,
an increase in
local unemployment,
traffic chaos,
the
loss of over 9 miles of ancient hedgerow, and the extinction of
local populations of
Badgers,
Bats and
Birds.

4000 dwellings next to Nature
Reserve
The "Churchfields" Estate planned by Croudace is effectively
a ribbon of houses which projects like a destructive finger
for 2 Km into the countryside (see above and see here).
Four storey houses with accompanying cats, light, and noise
will be built next to a Nature Reserve used for breeding by
many rare birds (see here).

6000 dwellings surrounding ancient
monument
The "Danetree Village" estate will be virtually isolated
from Daventry by Borough Hill (an ancient monument) and form
a separate community.
The views from Borough Hill, (see above and see here), are
the best in Northamptonshire. These will be
ruined by the sight of factories and houses up
to 50 feet high.
