"Daventry Calling" was the world famous BBC signature announcement of Empire Radio and World Service Broadcasts. Plans exist to build thousands of houses all around Borough Hill on beautiful rolling countryside. It is therefore fitting to use this call sign as a rallying cry to stop these appalling plans. The pictures you can see above are taken from Borough Hill. Most of what you can see will be covered in concrete!

Daventry is a small market town tucked away in Northamptonshire which is surrounded on all sides by greenbelt - not just flat featureless landscape but the best type of English rolling countryside. The town has limited capacity to expand without destroying its surroundings and the very essence of itself. The government have appointed an unelected body (WNDC) to force through their social engineering plans to double the size of Daventry in a decade; destroying rare wildlife and covering the countryside in concrete in the process!
